I've learned in the last several years to not make plans because what I plan and what God has planned for me are usually two totally different things.

Hi Everyone. This is Val. I am from St. James Parish, and have been a resident here all my life. I am a mother of three girls and a grandmother of 7, but soon to be 8. I love the Word of God, and can't wait to read about the revelations that the Lord has given each of you as we study together.

Hey yall! This is Julie. I am originally from Algiers ,La. I Lived in Marrero, LA for ten years prior to Hurricane Katrina, which blew me to Paulina, LA. I love living in Paulina. I am now a country girl and am proud of it! I love being a stay at home mom and wife! I am looking forward to homeschooling my lil boy Ashton , who just turned 3! I adore St. James Community Church, where I am a Youth Leader, Worship Leader, and I play the drums ,and the guitar. I also enjoy playing the piano! I guess you can say, I am very passionate about my ministry works! Looking forward to this bible study:)

Greetings to the Ladies of St. James Community Church and all those who join our group. This is Rinalda. I am an Alabama girl whose life and heart was transplanted to Louisiana and especially St. James Parish. I love taking tea and having tea parties. I can't wait for our Ladies Tea on April 6th.
Hello Ladies! My Name is Jess and some of my friends call me JaBoe, in my teenage years there were multiple Jessica's in my life so I have always had a nickname. I enjoy intramural sports especially softball, basketball, and water polo. I love to write and listen/sing to music. I am originally from Gretna. After highschool I attended Birmingham Southern College and lived in Birmingham, AL for 7 years before returning to Jefferson, LA in 2008. I can't wait to get started on our ladies study as we have the opportunity to grow together!

Hi! It's Courtney Carnine. I have lived in St. James Parish for the past 3 1/2 years and have fallen in love with the people and culture. I moved here from Northeast Tennessee where I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. At heart I'm still a mountain girl and do miss hiking. I am currently homeschooling my son and going to college. I love reading and discussions and am excited to participate in our first blog. Yay!

I grew up in LaPlace, lived 10 years in Chalmette, returned to LaPlace 20+ years ago with my then 7-year-old daughter, and have lived in Reserve for the past 7 1/2 years since marrying Mr. Gus. I love watching our backyard garden bloom in the spring and summer, listening to the LPO in concert, and planning road trips! I also love Bible studies that minister to women and look forward to growing through this online study. Thank you, Jess, for setting this up!
